HMDTMP is an organophosphonate compound possessing numerous properties like sequestration, deflocculation and threshold Inhibition. HMDTMP is especially effective in controlling CaSO4 scaling under high alkalinity and pH conditions. It is recommended to use case is boiler water treatment and for reverse osmosis/desalination application.
HMDTMP is incorporated in various chemical formulations of Industrial water treatment for desalination and reverse osmosis applications. HMDTMP acts as an excellent inhibitor for mineral deposits especially for gypsum, and has high hydrothermal stability. HDTMP shows its corrosion-inhibiting properties on aluminum under alkaline conditions. Selected HDTMP products are certified according to the North American standard NSF for use in the production of drinking water.
